Hastings Memories
This portion of the site is for you to post your fond Hastings memories. While the first piece is about the Middle School, this is decidedly not limited to school. Revisit Africa, the River, the Hastings Theatre, the Center Restaurant, the Village, the Aquaduct, the Pool, Reynolds, Zinsser, Uniontown. Step into the Youth Center or down to the Fat Cat Coffee House. Stroll from the Library (Municipal Building or free-standing) to King Pizza, pass Kalendar's and Algio's, decide between the Cup & Saucer and Nana's (with its "blue-plate specials"). Celebrate the Grand Opening of the Hastings Deli in place of the 5 & 10 in 1971, and its quick demise and replacement by Manzi's. Did you paint the 5 & 10's window at Halloween, or buy a mask at Rann's? Do you miss the bell-shaped lights at Christmas? We ask only that you sign your work, as we don't post anonymous stuff, and that if you name names, stay nice. This isn't the place to settle scores or start new ones. Other than that, tell everybody what you recall.

Teacher Tributes
This portion of the site opens the floor to appreciations of Hastings teachers. Talk about a teacher, or several, grade school, middle school, high school. We ask only that you be nice; you've had 30+ years to get over yourself and the slights of long ago. No limits on length, but the webmaster reserves the right to edit for space, and to cut egregious slams added in the name of a "balanced" appraisal. But that doesn't mean you have to pour syrup over it all: we should be able to finish your piece without a shot of insulin. You get the idea.
