“Jazz Summer Workshop” conducted and taught by Herbie Hancock, Donald Byrd and Charlie Persip.
Performed at the opening of the Richmond, Va. Coliseum as featured soloist.
1970: Apprenticed with the Philadelphia Brass Quintet.

1971: Selected as Principle Trumpet, New York All State (High School) Orchestra (New York State Music Association) as well as both Lead and Jazz Trumpet/Flugelhorn, New York All State Jazz Ensemble under the direction of John LaPorta.
Selected as “Outstanding Jazz Soloist” at the Berkley School of Music North East United States Jazz Festival. Awarded scholarship.
Performed as member and Jazz Soloist with the University of Bridgeport Jazz Ensemble. Bridgeport, Conn., under the direction of Neil Slater.
1972: Graduated Hastings-on-the-Hudson, N.Y., High School.
1972: Attended Manhattan School of Music.
Performed as member of saxophonist and arrangers Frank Foster’s “Loud Minority”
1973: Attended the State University of Purchase, N.Y.
1974: Became member of The Mahavishnu Orchestra under the direction of guitarist John McLaughlin with violinist Jon Luc Ponty. Performed internationally, including Montreux Jazz Festival, Swiss., North Sea Festival, The Netherlands., Kool Jazz Festival, Central Park, N.Y., The Cow Palace, San Francisco, Ca. (w/Carlos Santana)
1975: Played with “Blood, Sweat & Tears”.
1976: Relocated to Goteborg, Sweden. Wrote, Co-Produced, Performed and Recorded, Sundance EMI Stockholm.
1977: Recorded with Soff-Gruppen, Nachtsving Records, Gbg., Sweden.
1978: Relocated to Stockholm and performed and recorded with the Swedish Radio-TV Orchestra. Also recorded as studio trumpeter.
Produced, arranged and wrote for Phonogram Records, Monica Tornell; BUSHLADY. Mercury Label, Stockholm.
CIRCUS: A NEW JAZZ REVUE “A Mixed Media Presentation” (Music, Dance, Film, Photo Back Drops, Theatre.)
Composed, wrote, produced and performed in this presentation which was a look at the world we lived in at that time… …resulting in working with “Amnesty International” as well as the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in Sweden.
Toured with the “Svensson Family Circus” as Orchestra Director and Trumpeter.
1979: Composed/wrote “Fountain” A Three Act Musical Drama
. (This was funded/purchased for production by the Swedish National Radio Corp.)
1980: Relocated to the United States.
Orchestra Director at the Villa Roma Resort, Calhoon, New York. (Catskill Mountains.)
1981: Relocated to San Francisco.
Performed with: The 49er’s NFL Band, The Temptations, The Four Tops, and Ceasers Latin All Stars.
1982: Relocated to Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Performed as trumpeter/vocalist & leader nightly at the Run Inn Music Café, Amsterdam.
1983: Relocated to Palma de Mallorca, Spain.
Performed at the Villa Rio Jazz Café nightly with own quartet. The Peter Pan Band.
Toured South America with own jazz quartet performing in Uruguay as opening act for Van Halen.
1984-1990: Relocated to Madrid.
Performed and/or recorded with: Miguel Rios, Ana Belen-Victor Manuel, Alaska, Nacha Pop, The Madrid Television Orchestra (i.e.: Tony Bennett, Liza Minelli) Aute, Juaquine Sabina, Jon Manuel Serrat and as featured soloist on Cuban Artist: Paco Milanese’s Spanish Recordings. (Produced by Victor Manuel.)
Arranged and performed on 3 major releases of Spanish Pop Icons. Performed with own band nightly in Madrid when not touring. Compiled over sixty original compositions which have since been performed. Was contracted for a 2 ½ year period to represent Winston Cigarettes as the proverbial “Winston Man” (Poster model for Winston Cigarettes, J. Walter Thomson Advertising.) during their Jazz Icons Campaign.
1990: Relocated to the United States.
Performed in N.Y.City with: “The Mingus Band”, “The Gil Evans Band”, “New York Philharmonic Pops”, Lynn Welshman Tentet, “The Dave Matthews (Pianist) Jazz Band”, “Tom Boras Big Band” at the “Blue Note Jazz Club”.
1991: Performed for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, M.S. Sovereign of the Seas as trumpeter and Vocalist.
Founded and built “On Q Musical Productions & Recording Studio”. Began the study of Digital Concepts and their applications in music: I.E>>
Production (programming music using Sequencing) and Sampling Applications.
1992-1995: Performed periodically on Crystal Cruises “Crystal Harmony” and Norwegian Cruises “Dreamward”.
1996-1999: Relocated to Creston, Iowa.
Recorded complete collection of original works to digital format. (Arranged, scored and cataloged over 110 compositions.)
Taught Jazz Studies, Jazz Ensemble and Trumpet at South West Iowa Community College, Creston, Iowa under the direction of *Phil Mattson. *(Grammy winning writer, i.e.: Manhattan Transfer >> “Body and Soul”)
1999-2001: Relocated to Beaufort, North Carolina.
Taught Trumpet at Croatan High School and Broad Creek Middle School.
Performed as member of the “Carteret Community Theatre” in the production of “40’s Radio Hour” playing the part of “Johnnie Cantone”.
Taught Trumpet and small jazz ensemble’s at Havelock High School. Performed with Havelock Jazz and Concert Band as guest soloist.
2002: Directed Picture That 2 Art Gallery and Performing Arts Center, New Bern, NC
2003-2007: Instrumental Music Director of the Arapahoe Charter School. (Currently.)
2003 -2006: Performed on a regular basis with “The Duo” (Pianist: Dick Cumberland) at the “Ft. Macon Summer Musical Concert” series as well as locally.
2005-2006: Inaugurated and Performed with own band “Quorum” the quintet, at the New Bern Sheraton for the concert series “Jazz on the Trent”.
2004 & 2006: Performed at “Café Central” in Madrid, Spain with own quartet.
2006: As guest soloist/trumpeter, performed at the History Place at the Tedesco Concert on January 28, 2007.
2007: Performed with own band at “The History Place”: “Jazz Encounters”. March 18, 2007 (Video available.)
Currently producing/recording clients for “On Q Productions” as well as performing at various locations in the Eastern North Carolina area. Performing in many local churches (Classical/Baroque) Teaching privately and working with various musicians in “musical workshops”.
