No
kidding? I remember kissing her in the
play...yikes! It isn't MY son!
:-) And by the way...I found this odd in the
article: "...Hicksville,
U.S.A....'' Little known and less required fact about
me: Before moving to
Hastings,
I lived in Great Neck, on Long Island.
Before that, I lived for 8+
years
in Hicksville, NY--out on the Island.

Re: Ricky's Out of Office AutoReply
Now,
this is funny...I wasn't thinking Ricky's autoreply message was
impersonal. It seemed quite considerate, perhaps as
though he thought he'd
be
getting calls from us or email and not wanting to appear rude by making us
wait on
hold until he returned to the office. (Okay, just kidding.)

Just
had a chat with MISS THEWALD, our middle school guidance counselor! It
turns
out she has been the head guidance counselor here in Chappaqua for the
last 15
years. My mom had sent a newspaper
article to me, discussing
college
admission, and Penny was quoted in it.
Of course, it mentioned that
she
started out in Hastings. I put 2 &
2 together, remembering we had a
guidance
counselor named Penny. Wow! She'll be
checking our website soon.
She was
on maternity leave from 1972-1975, so many of you may have forgotten
her
during our formative years! Ms. Oberg says hi to all.

In the spirit of the Holiday season
Quite
clever of the UN to do this. Go to the Hunger Site at the UN. All you
do is
click a button and somewhere in the world a hungry person gets a
meal to
eat, at no cost to you. The food is paid for by corporate
sponsors
(who gain advertising in the process because you see their logo).
All you
do is go to the site and click on the donate food button. It takes a
few
seconds. However, you're only allowed
one donation, so pass the word.

to Tim Manny.)
